Focus on Physics - Book 2

Activities to build knowledge of the science of sport

Focused on the physics of sport, Book 2 will help to answer many of students' burning questions - why some people are naturally good at sport, why excellent runners are always thin and why excellent weight lifters are always muscular. The differentiated activities and experiments get students learning about distance, rates, speed, mass, forces, friction and levers. Your students will build their confidence and skills with drawing graphs, vector diagrams and free body diagrams, calculating speed, measuring, conducting experiments and collecting data.
