Bek GallowayAn experienced teacher who has held a range of leadership positions, Bek Galloway now also works as a part-time educational consultant. Her major focus is to build powerful thinking and inquiring classrooms that engage students and prepare them for their future – not our past. She has presented at numerous national and international conferences, as well as running workshops on literacy, thinking and questioning, ICT and other subjects directly relevant to 21st century learning. Her awards include Haben’s Prize for Excellence in Education, University of Canterbury, in 1995 and the National Excellence in Teaching (NEiTA) Regional Award in 2010
