Julia has worked as both a kindergarten teacher and educational leader since graduating from the University of Ballarat with a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) several years ago. She currently works as a sessional kindergarten teacher and program coordinator at a centre in Melbourne. Julia holds a Master of Education Studies from Federation University; her thesis explored teacher impact on peer relationships in kindergarten settings. Help – I’ve just started teaching! is her first book and was inspired by her work as a mentor for pre-service teachers, new graduates and educators moving into leadership roles within a centre.
