Here at Essential Resources we are very aware of the need to support teachers, parents and students who are dealing with special learning needs. These needs can relate to physical or cognitive abilities. They include students who, for whatever reason, risk being left behind, as well as students who may be classed as gifted or talented and need further extension.
Whether your students are at primary or secondary school level, you will find a range of helpful publications here. They include advice to Special Education Needs Co-ordinators (SENCOs) and guidance for behavioural management, emotional literacy and outdoor play. As well as assistance for teachers and parents, many of the resources offer student-centred activities that will fit a range of learning needs. Take time to look closely at what each resource contains and select those which best fit the needs of your students.
