Billy Saves the Beach Cover

Billy Saves the Beach

Billy Fern and her dad look after the beach. They hope to rid the beach of rubbish and conserve the wildlife. But one day a new family moves next door and they don't care about these things at all! What will Billy and her dad do to change their neighbours' attitudes?

The Story Seekers programme is written for older students reading below the expected level. Each book is carefully designed and levelled to appeal to reluctant readers, while improving their literacy skills. With well-considered text, high quality images and associated literacy activities, the readers can be used in a guided reading setting, as independent readers, or ESOL support resources. Every title in the collection is dyslexia-friendly.

This student edition of Billy Saves the Beach is supported with a teacher edition designed to support teachers with effective literacy teaching strategies and reduce reading lesson preparation time.
