Gifted and Talented Resources for Primary Schools

Some students need extension beyond the general level of your classroom programme. Essential Resources can help with that. If addressing such needs is new to you as a teacher or parent, you may wish to start with general introductions such as Young Gifted Children, Brilliant Activities for Stretching Gifted and Talented Children, Gifted Programming Made Practical and Differentiation Made Practical.

Some of our resources for gifted and talented students focus on particular subject areas, such as the Numeracy and Literacy CanUCards. As an extension to literacy, there are two books in the Etymology series. Other publications offer more open-ended activities such as projects or learning quests, while the Let’s Think series encourages primary students to make the most of their abilities at a cognitive level.
