Special Learning Needs Resources for Primary Schools

The publications available in this section of the Essential Resources website provide support for a diverse range of learning needs that can potentially make learning more difficult. Some resources target teachers and/or parents who are responsible for the students who need this extra support.

Resources such as the A to Z of Special Needs and Creating Solutions: Supporting the Special Education Co-ordinator.provide a good general introduction to special learning needs. Other resources are specific to subject areas, such as the Special Needs in the Classroom series for numeracy and literacy.
