A Place to Talk in Children's Centres

-

Supporting young children's language development

This book will challenge and inspire educators working in children's centres to create really effective 'places to talk'. It tells and shows how to make settings into the kinds of places where young children will learn and develop their language skills, and will inspire planning and provision.

It includes a summary of the key environmental influences, drawn from research, and lots of examples of what this looks like in practice.
