Power to the People is an informative yet engaging book in the third series ofStory Seekers. It explores the past and how people could see nature was full of electricity. They wanted to use it, yet did not know how. It looks at how electricity is used today and other ways we can make electric power. 

Story Seekers Series 3 has been carefully designed to engage and support students aged 9 to 12 years with a current reading level of 7.5 to 8 years old. The text has been carefully written to improve literacy skills by working on linguistic comprehension and decoding word skills. The vocabulary matches the students' current reading abilities. Any unfamiliar words are repeated to help readers understand the meaning and sounds in words.  

These books are perfect for guided or independent reading, and ESOL students. Plus, every title is dyslexia-friendly.

Returns
We offer a 14-day inspection with freepost return on all printed products.

Marie Langley’s experience in education includes 19 years teaching in secondary and area (Years 1 to 13) schools, 10 years as head of an English department, and seven years as a deputy principal. Her published works include a thesis for a Master of Teaching and Learning degree, magazine articles, short stories, poetry, picture books, a junior novel and numerous educational resource texts. She currently lives and works in Golden Bay in the top north-west corner of the South Island of New Zealand.
