Angie SimmonsAngie Simmons is an experienced educator who has broad experience in the educational sector
of New Zealand. She is interested in current best practice learning approaches that encompass
thinking skills, collaboration and problem solving. Angie has owned and operated an early
childhood centre, taught at primary schools for many years and worked as a university lecturer,
heading an educational technologies programme and teaching prospective teachers. She was also
contracted by the Ministry of Education to integrate e-learning into the school curriculum as an ICT
professional development facilitator. Angie was the writer for the APN Newspapers in Education
